Created over 50 hours across one month, Danger Close uses layers of dense black pigment, brushed charcoal and eraser work to build striking depth, texture and realism. A finalist in Explorers Against Extinction’s Sketch for Survival 2023, the work was exhibited at Dundas Street Gallery in Edinburgh and gallery@oxo on London’s South Bank. The original was later sold at auction, with proceeds supporting vital wildlife conservation projects.
